I thought it would be fun to see how this night time image of the San Francisco City skyline translated in black and white. I boosted the contrast for more drama.

This is me ... Heidi. :) My love of photography started years ago when our first daughter was born. As I started scrapbooking the pictures, I relized I wanted to take better pictures to put in my album, but didn't know how. It wasn't until I received my Canon Rebel XTi that photography became a passion of mine. I currently have the Canon EF-S 17-85mm 1:4-5.6 IS USM lens, EF 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 IS USM lens, Speedlite 580 II flash and my software is CS3, Lightroom 2. I hope my enjoyment of photography shows and it inspires you as well. :)

That is a pretty cool place to take a pic from! It is amazing how a warm image is suddenly turned dramatic in b & w! Great example!
