Heidi# 17

O.k., as Heather would say, my assignment was taking pictures of our Christmas tree. I didn't want any other light source than the Christmas tree. I used a tripod because my shutter was open for so long. I really am not thrilled with how this turned out. I am wondering if having white lights make a difference. I almost didn't post this, but figured it was part of the learning process. I took about 20 pictures and this is the only one that turned out o.k.

Heidi, whats not to like. The color lights look great on it. It has a nice feel to the whole thing. I think you have a good picture. How long was the shutter open?

I like the colored lights too. This low light stuff is a whole new ball game. You adjust thinking it's going to do one thing, and it doesn't always happen that way (at least for me!) I like the glow off the lights. It feels warm and inviting.
