Heidi #2

I was recently in downtown with my friend Stephanie at a conference. Of course I brought my camera in hopes of capturing something fun. While walking to the car, Stephanie saw this and thought it would make an interesting picture. Not exactly sure what is is, but I agreed with Stephanie and took the picture. :) Minor lighting adjustments in Lightroom.

Can't really see it. Can you make it bigger? Have you tried uploading to photobucket?

This is Urban Art! You should do more of this kind. I love it!

Heidi, I like the way you are thinking "outside the box". It's amazing what will strike you as beauty when you just take the time to look.

Yay!! It looks so good big! Very original :) I think I know what it is... just had one of these installed on the back of my house so my parents could tie into our sewer line. Yuck!! Makes for a great pic though. good job!

Heidi,

That is a nice picture, different, but very urban. Wonder what it would look like as a black and white. :) Happy photo taking

I am glad to help...It turned out great. It's kind of funny that it may be related to the sewer. Sorry.

A number of buildings have the water supplies to the fire department on the exterior, as opposed to placing a fire hydrant. You see them around Detroit all the time, even sometimes on the cement walls of the interstates.

Thanks for that information Chris. It makes sense! :)
