I took these pictures in Lake Tahoe. My intentions were to come up with a good picture of all of the kids for Christmas cards, but captured some beautiful individual portraits instead. We expected there to be hills of snow, but there were only patches here and there. When I opened the pictures up to edit them, I could not have been happier with the burst of color in between the snow, I think it made for a striking backdrop.
