I took this picture at a nursery we visited recently. They had a beutiful coi fish pond surrounded by this amazing forest of bamboo. The bamboo was shaded, but the light filtered in creating this really pretty lighting effect.
it is amazing how focusing to one specific spot totally changes the outcome of the picture. Who would have thought that was at a nursery ... it looks like you went to the topics to get that shot! Great eye on lighting!
This is me ... Heidi. :) My love of photography started years ago when our first daughter was born. As I started scrapbooking the pictures, I relized I wanted to take better pictures to put in my album, but didn't know how. It wasn't until I received my Canon Rebel XTi that photography became a passion of mine. I currently have the Canon EF-S 17-85mm 1:4-5.6 IS USM lens, EF 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 IS USM lens, Speedlite 580 II flash and my software is CS3, Lightroom 2. I hope my enjoyment of photography shows and it inspires you as well. :)

I'm Heather of Heather Ann Photography. I shoot with a Canon 5D. I spend a great deal of time editing my images with textures and vintage effects in CS4. What started out as a hobby has become a creative passion that expresses itself in finding the beauty that surrounds. Photography has caused me to slow down, examine and appreciate the little things that we take for granted each day.

That is a beautiful pic. I like how the one is in total focus and blurred as it goes out from the center. Great lighting too.
Love the lighting effect. Love how you get in real close on your subjects. This is fantastic.
