This is a statue at our church. When I took the picture, I envisioned everything black and white and just the blue of the person "running the race" in color. I wasn't to thrilled with the background, but since I couldn't move the statue, I did the best with what I had. ;)

I've never really noticed before, but that's a cross! You captured it at just the right angle to emphasize this. Good eye.
Cool Heidi. I like the way you colored it. Changing it to b&w does make the statue stand out. I've done that before when I've had a busy background. You do what you've got to do. I think it looks really good. I like your way of thinking... running the race. I'd never really thought about it before.
