Heidi #22

Happy New Year everyone! :) Here is a picture I took up at my mom's house in the snow. Even though it does not show Cassie's face, I like the idea of just her hands showing. It captures how small she still is. I think I like the color picture the best ... shows off the snow. (BTW, Cassie helped me with the vignetting.) With the new year here, I thought I would make a New Years resolution of taking better everyday shots. Life gets so crazy, I forget about everyday my kids change. So hopefully this year, I can capture them in "life". Not just a birthday, or Christmas, but May 16th, or August 2nd. A plain typical day, yet extraordinary because they are in it. :)

I really love this. Truly a slice of the life. The color one is just wonderful.

(blog stalking you, hope that's okay)

that is a great shot. The color one is better, the snow stands out more.
I like your resolution. Always have the camera to caputre the simple everyday stuff. :)

It's funny the way everyone has different taste, I actually like the brown/sepia tone one better, something about the brown and the contrast is really appealing to me, but think they are both really great shots. Nice job Heidi :-)

Great resolution Heidi! You'll do it too... because you said you would :) I like the sepia one better. It feels more warm and nostalgic to me. Like I'm remembering when I went to the snow when I was a little girl. They are both great shots.
