I caught the look of delight on my daughter's face right after being showered with a pile of leaves. I changed the picture to greyscale, played with the contrast, and warmed it up a bit in Lightroom. I shot this in aperture priority mode/f6 with the flash on.

I love it Heather! You were at the right place at the right time. You used your flash to fill in any dark areas and made the picture pop with the way you colorized it! Love it!! :)
This is a magazine cover... it is so good. I love the color and the low perspective. Makes me feel like I'm right down in the leaves with her. She looks so grown up and beautiful, btw! Did you use an external flash?
