Back in December we were visiting my mom at Christmas. I specifically took the pictures you are going to see for the next couple of week for Tripleshots. Unfortunalty, they got lost and forgoten in the pictures I took at Christmas, so during summer, we get to see snow pictures! :)

This portrait session was scheduled to take place at a natural reservoir with lush green grass. When we showed up for the shoot, the grass had been cut and dried up. I was pleasantly surprised at the the interest and contrast the dry grass brought to the image. Sometimes the unexpected works in our favor :-)

These family portraits were taken near the creek. There were beautiful creek scenes, colorful wildflowers, and ... swarming mosquitos! We had to pack up and leave early. Thank goodness we were able to redeem the rest of the scheduled time in the studio. (I'll save those ones for my next post)

I love spring. Flowers are blooming and the colors are so vibrant. Unlike summer where the sun kill stuff. ;) I thought this was beautiful. It was falling over the fence and I just had to bring my camera to capture it. ;)
