Took this the other day while at the girls softball practice. I used the cross-grain filter again. (And then forgot it was on so all the pics I took the next day look really hazy :( )

Hope you don't mind another picture from the cemetery. I really have been pretty consumed with the design star contest and the deadlines. I have lots of pictures of textures! Maybe I'll post some of those :) This was a homemade headstone at the cemetery. We don't allow homemade anymore, but there was a time...

I took a photography field trip today and came across some great country roads. Gotta love that polarizing lens filter... the colors came out so vibrant.

I looked out the window today at the most beautiful rainbow... You should have seen me running in my sweatpants and bare feet sheltering my camera with an umbrella as I tried to find a clearing before it disappeared. I could hear the kids laughing at me all the way down the street :-)

This was taken inside my MIL's house (can you tell I get a lot of inspiration visiting her?!). I must say this was challenging. The lighting was horrible (well, it was beautiful, just not for taking a picture). I had to steady myself against a wall because I did not have my tripod with me. The colors are what instantly drew me.
